Sharon Regional recognizes February Employee of the Month

March 20, 2017 - Thomas Barnett, a cook in the Nutritional Services Department at Sharon Regional Medical Center, was selected as the Employee of the Month for the month of February 2017.

Thomas joined Sharon Regional in 2016 where he served as a nutritional services aide prior to becoming a cook. He obtained his Serve Safe certification through the National Restaurant Association.

Thomas lives in Masury, Ohio where he is a volunteer First Responder/Level 2 firefighter for the Masury Fire Department.

Thomas was selected as Employee of the Month because of his ongoing efforts to keep safety as a top priority. Additionally, he was recognized for taking pride in the role he plays in creating a great patient and employee dining experience. The Nutritional Services Department at Sharon Regional prepares and serves approximately 1,000 meals daily for patients, employees, physicians and visitors.
